The Plaques and Monuments of Mallow

Below some monuments and memorial plaques to remember the famous and not so famous men of Mallow, the Republican Monument on the Bridge  over the river Blackwater, J.J Fitzgerald, (local politician) and the birth place of William O’Brien and Thomas Davis.

2013-12-01 14.46.43Just a couple of doors down from the Birth place of Thomas Davis there is a nice mural to Thomas Davis, Canon Sheehan and William O’Brien, unfortunetly some of it missing.
